This ground-up single-family home was envisioned as a modern beach abode that embodies California’s indoor-outdoor living. Large glass pocket doors hide within its walls and allow the rooms to blend into their outdoor settings. The layered greenery visually softens and complements the streamlined profiles of the building while also providing privacy to the exterior spaces. The result is a simple building form with a modern aesthetic, set against a lush landscape—a home nestled in nature, an escape equipped with the luxuries of contemporary living. Completed Spring 2022.
